• Ubuntu and Kubuntu 8.10 beta released:
  • Arun: I think it's because of the driver issue. There is no workaround other than using open source driver, but everyone is hoping that ATi would support the new X before the final Ubuntu 8.10 release.
  • quixote: I decided to try 8.10 under Virtualbox, and it just c-r-a-w-l-e-d. I have an ATI graphics card, so I wonder whether that's the problem? Any workarounds? Also, I understand the e1000 bug has been dealt with. You can run Ibex fearlessly . . . even if slowly ;-)
