Good news - Windows market share going down

A new study released by Net Applications indicates that a decreasing percentage of the Internet population is using Windows as their operating system. Mac OS X is the major gainer followed by Linux. Windows might soon fall below 90% mark (still high) and Mac will enter the double digit. Linux might soon reach single digit (;)). It's currently at 0.8%, a gain of 0.12% compared to last month.

Windows Collapsing

According to two Gartner analysts, Windows operating system is collapsing and Microsoft must make radical changes to its operating system or risk becoming a has-been. It was pretty obvious to everyone who read about Vista or who used Vista. I have a quad core system with 3 Gig RAM and Vista is visibly slow in that.

    • Arun: I wasn't sure how to do that either. What I did was, I edited all my calendar entries and changed the Calendar to Google's.
