IE team finally realised that they should have a good system for user feedback (reporting bugs) like bugzilla for Firefox. They now have Internet Explorer feedback section which forces you to create a MSN account if you want to file bugs. Another way to add more users to MSN? I’m back from Chicago after spending the weekend (long weekend due to spring break) there. The weather was pleasent and windy. It was very windy while driving back (gusts 50 mph). We went to Alice and Friends’ Vegetarian Café in Chicago. The food was really good. I would recommend you to try it atleast once. It is located at 5812 N. Broadway, Chicago.

I’m in Chicago now. This weekend is a long weekend for me (Spring break). We drove down from our place to here. The weather was supposed to be bad (stormy), but to our surprise, it was very pleasent though it was very windy. We’ll be here till Monday and drive back on Monday evening. The weather was little warm here in the afternoon and it’s getting cold now. I may or may not update my blog till tuesday.

I installed Aqua dock from Opennwares. It’s a free utility that gives you Mac OS X style taskbar. I read the review in some magazine and downloaded it. After I installed it, Spysweeper startup sheild asked me If I want to give permission to Aquadoc and Liveupdate for starting with Windows. I didn’t know what liveupdate was, so I said ok to Aquadock and No to liveupdate. I then checked the program files folder and found that the installation created a folder liveupdate under program files. That folder had an uninstall executable which I used to uninstall that program and then deleted the folder. I’m not sure if it was part of Aquadock or an adware that Aquadock installs. Please use caution if you are going to install this utility. On the positive side, the utility is nice and the animated taskbar is pretty neat. It doesn’t replace windows taskbar.

I went to Windows Live site and tried to sign in and I got this error. I used Firefox. I didn’t try with IE and I don’t want to. Let me check after some time.

Google Blogoscoped has a story of a GMail user loosing his GMail account and he didn’t take any backup. He tried to contact Google, but he has not received any response from them till now. Reading that, I feel I should have a backup of my GMail account. I’m going to configure my thunderbird to download my GMails. I advise everyone to do so.
