Google has introduced a new feature called Google Apps Script, which will let you automate a variety spreadsheet actions, such as reading and changing values in cells and ranges, changing formats and formulas, creating custom functions, send email or create calendar entries.
Google Apps Script is currently under testing and Google is inviting only a limited number of Google Apps domains to start testing the Google Apps Script. If you are interested in testing it, click here to apply.
