I use SQL Developers for my development work. All of a sudden, the Backspace key, CTRL key, Delete key and other function keys stopped working in the SQL worksheet. I don’t remember doing anything out of ordinary, but those keys stopped working. I then Googled and found a solution. All you have to do is click on Tools menu – select Preferences, click on Accelerators on the left side, click on Load Preset button on the right, select Default (screenshot below), click OK and click OK again to close the preference window. All keys should work fine now.
Update for SQL Developer 2.1.164: The Accelerators menu is replaced with Shortcut Keys in SQL Developer 2.1.1.64. I haven’t had this problem with the new version of SQL Developer, but if you do, I would suggest trying the following.
Go to Tools – preferences – Shortcut Keys – More Actions (on the right next to available commands) – Load Keyboard Scheme and select default. Click OK and save.

There is not Accelerators menu in SQL developer Version 2.1.1.64, So how can I resolve this issue.

I think they are called Shortcut Keys in SQL Developer 2.1.1.64. If you click on Shortcut Keys under Tools – Preferences and then click on More Actions on the right, then select Load Keyboard Scheme and the select default.
