Here is the tentative release schedule of Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.
June 12th - Alpha 1
July 3rd - Alpha 2
July 24th - Alpha 3
August 14th - Alpha 4
September 4th - Alpha 5
September 18th - Alpha 6
October 2nd - Beta
October 26th - Release Candidate
October 30th - Final Ubuntu 8.10 release.

Could you please provide a URL to download the alpha release of 8.10, I was wanting to test it with my own Linux applications [ensure early and complete compatibility]

I read somewhere that it was delayed. I don’t remember the changed schedule.
