Here is the tentative release schedule of Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.
June 12th – Alpha 1
July 3rd – Alpha 2
July 24th – Alpha 3
August 14th – Alpha 4
September 4th – Alpha 5
September 18th – Alpha 6
October 2nd – Beta
October 26th – Release Candidate
October 30th – Final Ubuntu 8.10 release.

I read somewhere that it was delayed. I don’t remember the changed schedule.
Could you please provide a URL to download the alpha release of 8.10, I was wanting to test it with my own Linux applications [ensure early and complete compatibility]
