Amazon MP3 downloader now supports Linux (including Ubuntu)

Amazon’s MP3 downloader, which lets you purchase and download MP3 albums, now supports Linux OSes. It currently supports Ubuntu 7.10, Debian Etch, Fedora 8 and OpenSuSe 10.3. It’s good to see that Amazon recognizes Linux users. To download the mp3 downloader for Linux, Click here.

Installation for Ubuntu is pretty simple. Download the file, double click it. Once the installer opens, click Install Package. It will ask for your password. Enter password and you are done.
