Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 4.0.01 Alpha released
Kubuntu team has released Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron alpha with KDE 4.0.1. Kubuntu now carries two different alpha versions for Hardy Heron. One is, commercially supported KDE 3.x version and the other one is community supported KDE 4.x version. KDE 4.x version of Kubuntu 8.04 is still under heavy development, so use with caution. Some items need more polishing like KNetworkManager, which won't start when system boots. You have to manually start it.
