Xgl/Compiz on dual monitor - Pretty cool.

Watch this video of Xgl/Compiz on dual monitor. It’s pretty cool. I’m using Xgl/Compiz on my laptop (Ubuntu OS) with ATI Radeon X1600 video card for the past 2-3 months and it’s pretty cool. It doesn’t take memory or other resources as much as Microsoft’s Vista is going to take. Every magazine and newspaper talk about Vista’s Aero interface just because it’s from Microsoft or because they are tech illiterates. I would like them to watch Xgl/Compiz in action, the hardware needed for that etc before they pour lavish praise on Vista.

I’m not using dual monitor. I got that video from the web that shows Xgl on dual monitor. I’m using it on single monitor only. May be I didn’t write it in clear that mine was a single monitor configuration. I’m sorry I couldn’t help you. Try http://www.compiz.net/
