Back from Chicago

I'm back from Chicago after spending the weekend (long weekend due to spring break) there. The weather was pleasent and windy. It was very windy while driving back (gusts 50 mph). We went to Alice and Friends' Vegetarian Café in Chicago. The food was really good. I would recommend you to try it atleast once. It is located at 5812 N. Broadway, Chicago.

Ubuntu and Kubuntu 8.10 beta released:
- Arun: I think it's because of the driver issue. There is no workaround other than using open source driver, but everyone is hoping that ATi would support the new X before the final Ubuntu 8.10 release.
- quixote: I decided to try 8.10 under Virtualbox, and it just c-r-a-w-l-e-d. I have an ATI graphics card, so I wonder whether that's the problem? Any workarounds? Also, I understand the e1000 bug has been dealt with. You can run Ibex fearlessly . . . even if slowly ;-)
Installing Virtualbox and Windows in Ubuntu:
